Job Description

A K-12 school district in Onyx, CA is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials for a contract position lasting the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite opportunity involves working district-wide to provide specialized behavioral support and supervision within a public school setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Managing a caseload of 30+ students with diverse behavioral needs
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior plans
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress toward behavioral goals

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred

  • Ability to lead and supervise a team of RBTs effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
