Job Description

A K-12 school in Northfield, VT is seeking a qualified Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to support student behavioral and educational needs throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students, teachers, and families within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement and monitor behavioral strategies.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Promote positive behavioral supports and inclusive educational practices.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioral interventions and data collection methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and maintain accurate documentation.
