An educational organization in the Newark, NJ area is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a part-time contract basis for the current school year. This role involves providing specialized behavior support within an elementary school setting, working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities.

Responsibilities include managing an elementary caseload focused on grades 1 through 4. The BCBA will develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and monitor student progress. There is potential to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring effective treatment delivery and adherence to protocols.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies and data collection
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Supervisory experience overseeing RBTs is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Location: Primarily based in Newark, NJ with service reach into Matawan, NJ
Job type: Part-time contract position
Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week during the current school year
