A school-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available to support a kindergarten student with aggressive behaviors in a general education classroom setting. This full-time role requires participation in life-skills support, including toileting and bathroom assistance.
Location: New Castle, DE (K-12 School setting)
Duration: Contract through the current school year (CSY)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM 4:15 PM EST, 37.5 hours per week, beginning ASAP through June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a kindergarten student exhibiting aggressive behaviors.
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Assist with life-skills activities, including toileting and personal care, ensuring the student's safety and dignity.
- Collect and document data on behavioral progress and communicate effectively with the education team.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or previous certification held.
- Demonstrated school-based experience working with students who display aggressive behaviors is required.
- Comfort and willingness to assist with toileting and bathroom duties.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to New Castle, DE.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
