Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students as a Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials in a school setting. The role focuses on implementing behavior intervention strategies and supporting students within special education classrooms.

Duration:

  • Contract position for the current school year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student behavior goals
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on behavior management techniques
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably within special education
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Reliable documentation of certifications and relevant credentials
