Job Description

A K-12 school in Montpelier, VT is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to support student behavioral needs during the current school year on a contract basis. This role is essential for fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to each students individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop effective behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies that support student success
  • Monitor and adjust interventions based on data and student progress
  • Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior management techniques
  • Promote proactive and positive behavioral supports within the school setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience supporting students in K-12 educational settings with diverse behavioral needs

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
