Job Description

A K-12 school in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a skilled professional to support behavioral interventions and promote positive student outcomes. This contract position is available for the complete school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic educational setting dedicated to meeting diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support behavioral goals
  • Provide training and consultation to school staff on effective behavior management techniques
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress and adjust interventions accordingly

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred
  • Experience as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 educational environments
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral assessment and intervention methods
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse school teams
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
