Job Description

A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a qualified Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification to support a K-12 school district located in Inyokern, CA. This role involves providing behavior analysis services across the district from August 6, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a focus on supporting over 30 students and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This onsite position requires a dedicated professional to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote positive behavioral outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students in a K-12 setting
  • Provide supervision and guidance to RBTs in the delivery of behavior support services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and consistency of interventions
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and data-driven progress monitoring
  • Participate in training and compliance activities to uphold educational standards and best practices

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments with diverse student populations
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of 30+ students and supervise behavioral staff effectively
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
