Job Description

A high school in Derry, NH is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support students in a dynamic educational environment during the current school year (CSY). This contract role offers the opportunity to apply specialized behavioral techniques to help improve student outcomes and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor and evaluate student progress.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on behavior management techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist, preferably in a high school setting.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral principles and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.

Location: Derry, NH (High School Setting)
