A BCBA behavior specialist position is available for an experienced professional dedicated to supporting students with diverse behavioral needs in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on creating positive learning environments through applied behavior analysis techniques and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) license
• Masters degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with behavioral challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
• Knowledge of current best practices in behavior analysis and interventions

Location:

• Custer, SD

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
• Implement and monitor the effectiveness of BIPs, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive behavioral support
• Provide training and guidance to school staff on behavior management techniques
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress and outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocate for student needs
