Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students as a Behavior Specialist with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials. The role focuses on providing specialized behavioral interventions across multiple private schools within the district.

Location: Clermont, FL
Setting: K-12 Schools (Private Schools within the district)
Duration: Contract through 5/29/2026
Schedule: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
Assignment: Itinerant, covering private schools throughout the district

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral strategies.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training for educators and support personnel.
  • Monitor and analyze student progress to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required.
  • National certification and licensure to practice as a behavior specialist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain organized records.
