Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) license
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students, particularly in autism programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Knowledge of K-12 education policies and best practices related to behavior management

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral support and mentorship to students in the Communication and Adaptive Behavior Program
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
  • Conduct staff training and professional development on behavior management techniques
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student behavior and program effectiveness
