A K-12 school in Bristol, VT is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification to support student behavioral needs during the current school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience working as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 settings
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention techniques
• Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Data collection and analysis skills to monitor student progress

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff on behavior management strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students behavioral and educational needs are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports regarding behavior services

Location: Bristol, Vermont
