An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide supervisory support within a K-12 educational setting in Bossier City, Louisiana. This part-time contract position supports a caseload through direct supervision, focusing on guiding Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and assisting with competency assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for approximately 2 hours per week (8 hours per month).
- Assist the RBT in completing the renewal competency assessment.
- Ensure adherence to behavior intervention plans and best practices in alignment with school policies.
- Collaborate with school staff to support behavior management strategies effectively.
- Maintain compliance with Louisiana licensing requirements for behavior analysts.
Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential is mandatory.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage supervisory responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff and provide constructive feedback to support student behaviors.
Location and Details:
- Position located in Bossier City, LA.
- Contract term available from ASAP through May 19, 2026.
- Part-time schedule focusing on supervision only.
