Job Description

A K-12 school located in Bennettsville, SC, is seeking a Behavior Specialist for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This onsite role involves working directly with students to support behavioral development and learning within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans to support students with diverse needs
Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized strategies
Monitor and document student progress and adapt plans as necessary
Provide guidance and training to staff and families on behavior management techniques
Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

Experience as a Behavior Specialist or similar role in educational settings
Ability to work effectively with K-12 students and school personnel
Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and best practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Relevant certifications or licenses preferred
