Seize an exciting opportunity to make a district-wide impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the entire 2026-27 school year! This full-time, onsite contract role involves serving across three schools within the district, partnering with a diverse team of educators and specialists. With an emphasis on data-driven intervention and collaborative teamwork, your expertise will lay the foundation for positive behavioral support structuresan essential step as the district introduces this vital discipline.
Your responsibilities will be both meaningful and varied:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct services to both general and special education students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Perform student observations, including in emotional support classrooms.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and draft targeted behavior intervention plans.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings as a behavioral consultant.
- Offer guidance and consultation to teachers, school psychologists, and multidisciplinary staff.
- Champion the establishment and refinement of district-wide behavioral supports.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Demonstrated expertise in performing FBAs, writing and implementing behavior plans, and providing data-driven interventions.
- Ability to collaborate positively with diverse teams, including educators, school psychologists, and administrators.
- Experience working with both general and special education populations in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Submission of a redacted FBA sample and professional references is required for consideration.
The assignment spans from August 17th, 2026 to June 10th, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37-40 onsite hours. As the go-to resource for behavioral guidance across the districts three campuses, youll effect change where its needed most and help shape a supportive learning environment for all.
