Job Description

A school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to support students ranging in age from 5 to 22 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental delays in a K-12 setting. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and is based in North Providence, RI. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at one school site.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Implementing and monitoring evidence-based behavior strategies with a focus on developmental and educational goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff (e.g., RBTs, CNAs, LPNs) who will provide day-to-day supervision and assistance
  • Collecting and analyzing data to assess progress and modify interventions accordingly
  • Providing training and coaching to school personnel and families to promote consistency in behavior supports

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA licensure in good standing
  • Experience supporting students with Autism and developmental delays in educational settings
  • Strong skills in functional behavior assessments, data analysis, and intervention design
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in applied behavior analysis
