Job Description

Seeking a dedicated professional with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Springfield, GA. This contract position spans the school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children through the application of behavioral analysis techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Knowledge of various behavioral interventions and data collection methodologies
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services as a BCBA to students and staff
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Train and support teachers and paraprofessionals in the application of behavioral techniques
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the causes of challenging behaviors
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided
