Job Description
Located in San Jose, CA, this full-time BCBA role within a K-12 school offers a contract position for the full school year. The position involves providing expert behavioral consultation and support to the school's RBT and behavioral teams, serving students with behavior-related challenges.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations of students, collaborating closely with the special education team to support IEP plans and implementation, and providing supervision to district staff. The role primarily requires onsite presence and demands strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid BCBA license for California
- PPS Credential
- Experience with assessments and evaluations of students with behavioral challenges
- Ability to collaborate with special education teams and contribute to IEP planning
- Proven supervisory skills in a school district setting
