Seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a rewarding part-time, onsite contract position for the upcoming school year. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals, providing expert behavioral support and consultation within a supportive academic environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Active licensure through IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation)
- No PEL (Professional Educator License) required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to implement and monitor effective behavior strategies
- Provide direct student support as needed, and train educators/assistants on intervention plans
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide ongoing plan adjustments
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and professional guidelines
