Key Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in Maryland (MD)
  • Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and implementing data-driven interventions
  • Effective communicatorable to collaborate with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess student behaviors and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Train and consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavioral supports
  • Deliver direct service to support a caseload within the elementary school's health room
  • Maintain accurate records, collect data, and document progress toward behavioral goals
  • Provide ongoing professional development and support for school staff
