Work with a supportive team while delivering essential PT services to students across two school sites for an entire academic year. This contract role offers 20 hours per week, ensuring a meaningful balance of professional engagement and schedule flexibility.
Youll be responsible for serving approximately 2028 students throughout the school year, providing services directly at each school site within the district. Your efforts will foster students growth, help them overcome physical challenges, and support their success in the classroom. Travel between campuses will allow you to collaborate with team members and contribute to students overall well-being in diverse settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active PT certification in California is required
- Prior experience working in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work effectively across multiple school sites
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students physical therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs and goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student participation in school activities
- Maintain meticulous records of progress and adjust plans as needed
- Rotate between two school sites and manage an itinerant caseload
