Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized support in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in New Haven, CT, and focuses on delivering tailored behavioral interventions and guidance to students from September 1, 2025, to November 28, 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) License
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of various behavioral techniques and interventions
  • Commitment to student success and well-being

Location:
New Haven, CT
Onsite only

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective behavioral strategies in the classroom.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral techniques.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust BIPs as needed.
  • Engage with families to ensure continuity of care and support outside of school.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
