Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Masters degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral interventions and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEPs and educational regulations

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to understand student needs and develop appropriate behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of BIPs, ensuring data collection and analysis for ongoing progress evaluation
  • Provide training and support for teachers and staff on behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral supports within the classroom
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student goals and outcomes
