Job Description

A licensed BCBA is sought for a contract position serving elementary and middle school students across four schools located within minutes of each other. Location: Hazlet, NJ
Duration: December 1, 2025 January 9, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
Grade Levels: Elementary and Middle School
Caseload: Four nearby schools (within 2-3 minutes travel)
Openings: 1
Licensure: Valid NJ BCBA License required

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing assessment, design, and implementation of behavioral programs for K-12 students
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized behavior plans
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed to support student success
  • Delivering training and guidance to school personnel to promote positive behavioral support practices

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid NJ BCBA license
  • Experience supporting students in K-12 educational settings, ideally with elementary and middle school populations
  • Strong skills in functional behavioral assessment and behavior plan development
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
