Job Description

This position seeks a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the elementary and middle school levels within a dynamic K-12 school district in Hazlet, NJ. The role involves providing expert behavioral services across four schools situated within close proximity, ensuring effective and consistent interventions to foster students' growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborating with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students behavioral and academic needs
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to promote positive outcomes
  • Providing training and consultation to educators and staff on behavior management strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid New Jersey BCBA license is required
  • Previous experience working with K-12 populations, ideally within elementary and middle school settings
  • Strong understanding of behavior analytic principles and their application in educational environments
  • Ability to manage caseload across multiple school sites efficiently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
