Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide expert behavioral support within a K-12 school setting. This role involves working directly with the behavioral team, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), to assess and address behavior-related challenges in students. The position focuses on collaboration with diverse student populations and Special Education (SPED) teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide BCBA supervision and support to the behavioral team within the school.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students exhibiting behavior challenges.
  • Collaborate with SPED teams to support IEP development and implementation.
  • Monitor progress and adjust behavioral interventions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between staff and families regarding behavior goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA licensure in Tennessee is required.
  • Experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and IEP processes.
  • Ability to provide professional supervision and guidance to RBTs and behavioral staff.

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position based in Hixson, Tennessee.
  • Full year contract available.
  • Options for full time (37.5 hours/week) or part time (20 hours/week).
  • Support provided for one school within the district.
