Job Description

Located in Nottingham, MD, this full-time BCBA position offers the opportunity to work within a K-12 school setting, supporting students and staff throughout the academic year from August to June. This contract role involves a 35-hour workweek, serving one school, with potential for transition to direct hire for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on thorough assessment and analysis.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes for students.
  • Conduct ongoing data collection and progress monitoring to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavioral strategies and best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with state and district regulations related to behavioral services.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential valid in Maryland or Massachusetts, or a Doctorate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Special Education.
  • Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12, with students requiring behavioral support.
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
