This contract position offers a dynamic 37.5-hour work week, providing the chance to make a substantial impact by serving students from pre-K through 12th grade across multiple schools.
As an integral part of a collaborative team, you'll conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and observe students across diverse learning environments. You'll also lend your expertise in team meetings, ensuring that behavior support strategies align with educational goals. Additionally, you'll have the chance to guide and mentor BCBA candidates, helping to shape the future of behavioral services within the district.
Your background should include:
- National certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proven experience conducting FBAs, creating BIPs, and providing behavioral consultation in school settings
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teams, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting students in pre-K through 12th grade
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Completing thorough FBAs and data-driven BIPs for assigned students and schools
- Observing and assessing student behavior in classroom and non-classroom environments
- Participating in and contributing to meetings with educational teams and families
- Providing oversight and support to BCBA candidates working within the district
