Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and data-driven decision making
- Comfort with conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students behavioral strengths and areas for support
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Work directly with students, providing in-class support and modeling interventions
- Train and guide staff and caregivers in implementing behavioral strategies
- Collect and analyze data to inform adjustments to interventions
- Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular progress updates to teams
