An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in behavioral analysis within an educational setting. This role involves working closely with students ranging from kindergarten to 22 years old, focusing on those with behavioral needs and autism spectrum disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) licensure in Maryland
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
  • Expertise in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Ability to provide training and support to teachers and paraprofessionals regarding behavioral techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of BIPs, ensuring regular progress evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
  • Conduct training sessions for school staff on behavioral strategies and techniques
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
