Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Audiologist license required
- ASHA certification (CCC-A) preferred
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric audiology settings highly valued
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ready to be flexible in travel across multiple district locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students aged PreK12
- Provide recommendations for amplification, classroom acoustics, and hearing assistive technology
- Develop, implement, and monitor auditory support plans in alignment with IEP teams
- Serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and parents on hearing loss and educational accommodations
- Deliver staff training and assist with in-service programming about hearing and access needs
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal educational guidelines
