Make a meaningful impact by supporting students auditory health across multiple school districts in the Cambridge, MN area. As a Minnesota-licensed Educational Audiologist, youll be at the forefront of helping young learners engage fully in their educational environments. This contract role provides an exciting opportunity to work short-term to cover the beginning of the 26-27 school year, playing an essential part in shaping students success.
Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, students, and families throughout 13 public school districts, ensuring students receive outstanding audiological care and support. This position allows you to sharpen your skills, experience a variety of educational settings, and deliver services to a diverse group of learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active MN Audiologist license required
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric audiology strongly preferred
- Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and assistive listening devices
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose hearing disorders and auditory processing issues
- Develop and implement individualized audiology plans in educational settings
- Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology
- Train students, families, and staff on proper use of hearing aids and auditory equipment
- Maintain detailed records and documentation as required
