Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Audiologist License.
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with both students and educational teams.
  • Ability to conduct hearing assessments, implement intervention plans, and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage documentation efficiently.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive audiological assessments for students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students with identified hearing needs.
  • Assist in the selection, fitting, and monitoring of hearing assistance devices.
  • Provide ongoing consultations and training to school staff regarding hearing health and classroom accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and recommendations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
