An exciting opportunity awaits for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher dedicated to enhancing the physical education experience for students with diverse needs. Location: Roseville, CA (Hybrid - At Home)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored physical education plans for K-12 students, focusing on adaptive methods to accommodate individual abilities.
  • Conduct engaging virtual sessions while fostering a supportive and interactive online learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of six or fewer students, ensuring personalized attention and effective assessment of student progress.
  • Collaborate with parents, specialists, and school staff to create cohesive strategies that promote each student's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in adaptive physical education to continuously enhance instructional methods.

Qualifications:

  • Valid APE authorization in California.
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a hybrid or virtual setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and families.
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students while maintaining a structured learning environment.
