Bring your expertise in adaptive physical education to an impactful full-time contract opportunity, supporting students across multiple campuses. This onsite role focuses on fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for learners of all abilities. Youll collaborate with education professionals to develop and implement creative, individualized programs that encourage growth, confidence, and physical well-being.

This position involves itinerant duties, serving two to three schools, and ensuring a positive experience for students wherever they are. Reliable transportation and adaptability are key, as youll travel to different sites based on district needs. The ideal candidate brings energy, initiative, and a passion for making physical education accessible.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid PE teaching certification required; Adaptive Physical Education certificate preferred
• Experience adapting physical education curricula for diverse needs
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
• Reliable transportation to move between multiple sites
• Flexibility to adjust to varying caseloads and locations
• Ability to pass all district-specific screening and fingerprinting processes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver adaptive PE instruction tailored to individual student requirements
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure cohesive support
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Travel between assigned schools (up to three) as part of an itinerant schedule
• Create a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for all participants
• Adjust plans and activities to meet evolving needs of students and schools
