Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License with Adaptive Physical Education endorsement (required)
- Experience working with K-12 students requiring modified/adapted physical education
- Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families
- Enthusiasm for implementing engaging, accessible physical activities for all ability levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide adaptive physical education instruction to a caseload of 30-50 students
- Develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans tailored to student needs and abilities
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as a key team member
- Track and report student progress toward goals, adjusting instruction as needed
- Partner with colleagues, therapists, aides, and parents to maximize student participation and growth
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive class environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.00 to $53.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
