A K-12 school in Burnsville, MN, is seeking a qualified Adaptive Physical Education Teacher with expertise in Developmental Adapted Physical Education. This onsite contract position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' physical development across all grade levels within the district.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized physical education instruction tailored to the developmental needs of students with disabilities K-12.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, adapting activities to meet individual education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support students physical growth and inclusion in school activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed to promote skill development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Developmental Adapted Physical Education license.
• Demonstrated professional experience working in a K-12 school setting.
• Strong understanding of adaptive techniques and individualized instruction methods.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
