Job Description

Sunbelt is a hiring a SLP - Speech Language Pathologist in the school district. The SLP will be responsible for treating a variety of disabilities on the job. This job is for the upcoming 23/24 school year with a K-12th caseload.

SLP Job details
Provide direct therapy  
Conduct IEP’s, evaluations, testing, and progress reports.
Support students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities of individuals with communication disorders.

Conducting screenings: Assist in conducting screenings to identify individuals who may have communication difficulties. This may involve administering standardized tests, observing clients, and documenting findings.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based interventions and goals tailored to each patient's specific needs and abilities.

Provide therapy sessions using various techniques and modalities to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, social communication, and swallowing function.
