School Psychologist - Plainfield, IL Fall Sem
A local school district is already interviewing School Psychologists for this upcoming Fall semester in Plainfield, Illinois. This position is full time and will be for the Fall semester only, as this is to cover a Mat leave. The caseload will be in the Early Childhood Center; Any candidates would need experience with play based assessments or willingness to learn how to administer play based assessments. This position is for mainly evaluations and participating in IEP meetings.
Applicants MUST have IL School Psych Certification
School Psych Job Skills:
Conduct legally defensible evaluations for students suspected to require specially designed instruction in addition to re-evaluations for students identified as requiring special education and related services within state and federal timelines.
Serve as a member of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee for students who have identified emotional/behavioral needs, including those who require a supplement to the code of conduct (i.e., Behavior Intervention Plan) and an Autism ARD Supplement.
Conduct evaluations (e.g. Functional Behavioral Assessments) to guide ARD/IEP Committee decisions regarding emotional/behavioral programming.
