Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Hiwassee, Georgia
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description: As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in assessing and addressing the psychological and educational needs of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive abilities, emotional well-being, and social skills.
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Providing direct counseling and intervention services to students individually or in small groups to support their social and emotional well-being.
Implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions to improve students' academic performance, behavior, and overall functioning.
Assisting in the identification and intervention of learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other psychological or behavioral disorders.
Collaborating with the school's multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated support for students' needs.
Providing consultation and guidance to teachers and parents on strategies to address students' psychological and educational needs.
Monitoring and evaluating students' progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Previous experience as a School Psychologist or related role is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
