Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational institution. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling services to students dealing with personal, social, and academic challenges, offering guidance and support.
• Identify and address learning and behavioral difficulties in students, offering appropriate interventions and recommendations.
• Conduct research and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions.
• Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, providing guidance on effective instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, make recommendations, and coordinate services.
• Assist in crisis intervention and response, offering support during challenging situations.
Job Qualifications:
• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (if applicable)
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, theories, and interventions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
