School Psychologist Job in Arlington, WA
Sunbelt needs a School Psychologist in the Arlington, Washington area. This job starts this Fall and lasts for the entire school year. We need someone for at least 2 days per week. Duties may include initial evaluations, re-evaluations, interventions, overview of current IEP plans/ adjustments, and observations/ Parent meetings. We would like to have some of this be on site but are also open to having some teletherapy.
Applicants MUST have Washington School Psychologist Cert and ESA
School Psych Job Skills:
Conduct legally defensible evaluations for students suspected to require specially designed instruction in addition to re-evaluations for students identified as requiring special education and related services within state and federal timelines.
Serve as a member of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee for students who have identified emotional/behavioral needs, including those who require a supplement to the code of conduct (i.e., Behavior Intervention Plan) and an Autism ARD Supplement.
Conduct evaluations (e.g. Functional Behavioral Assessments) to guide ARD/IEP Committee decisions regarding emotional/behavioral programming.
