Location: Near Enola, North Carolina

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time school psychologist to join a school district, and provide comprehensive psychological services to the students. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the academic and social-emotional well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
Provide counseling and therapy to students to address emotional and behavioral concerns.
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with challenging behaviors.
Participate in the multidisciplinary team meetings and assist in the development of appropriate educational plans.
Support teachers and staff in implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.

Requirements:

Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid North Carolina state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
Experience working as a school psychologist or in a similar educational setting.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Understanding of special education laws and regulations.
Dedication to continuous professional development.
