Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join an educational team near Curwensville, Pennsylvania, on a full-time basis. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students within the school district. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling and intervention services, collaborating with teachers and parents, and participating in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).


  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support students' educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop intervention strategies for students experiencing crisis situations.
  • Support teachers in implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote positive learning environments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in school psychology to inform your practice.


  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment measures and techniques commonly used in school psychology.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting assessment results.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Proficient in counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
