Job Title: School Nurse (RN-BSN) - Elementary Health Room

Location: Bridgeview, IL

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Job Description:

Join our dedicated team as a School Nurse in the elementary health room, where you'll play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide expert care and support to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer basic healthcare services to students, including first aid, medication, and emergency care.
Assess and manage students' health concerns, collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
Maintain accurate health records, ensuring compliance with all school health policies and procedures.
Promote health education and awareness among students, staff, and parents.
Participate in health and safety programs within the school community.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Current Illinois nursing license.
Pediatric nursing or school nurse experience is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
