Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Nurse (BSN) to join our middle school health room team in Springfield, MA. The RN will manage day-to-day health services for students, addressing both immediate medical needs and long-term health concerns. Responsibilities:

Provide daily healthcare to middle school students in the health room, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
Assess and treat injuries and illnesses, referring students to medical care when necessary.
Maintain accurate student health records and ensure compliance with state and district health regulations.
Collaborate with school staff and parents to manage students' individual health plans (IHPs) and 504 plans.
Conduct screenings (e.g., vision, hearing) and coordinate immunization compliance.
Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics, promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a variety of health concerns efficiently.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, during school hours.
