Job Description

Job Title: School Float Registered Nurse

Location: St. Paul, MN

We are currently looking for a versatile and compassionate Float Registered Nurse to join our school community in St. Paul, MN. As a School Float RN, you will have the opportunity to provide support across various school settings, ensuring the health and safety of our students and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct health assessments and screenings for students in different school settings.
Administer medications and provide necessary medical treatments as required.
Respond to medical emergencies promptly and administer first aid.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement health plans for students with specific medical needs.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation across multiple schools.
Provide health education to students and staff.
Participate in health promotion activities and support school-wide health initiatives.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is advantageous.
Adaptable and able to work effectively in different school environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
