Job Description

Sunbelt is working with a school district to fill multiple Special Education Teacher positions in the Valley. Interviewing Immediately for 2023-2024 School Year!

Summary:
Looking for a highly motivated teacher to work with students who have learning, mental, emotional, or physical disabilities. Teacher must display the ability to assist students with general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Job Details:

Full Time
Plan activities that are specific to each student’s abilities
Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, or one-on-one.
Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress.
Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students’ progress and goals.
Discuss students’ progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.

Job Requirements

Special Education Teaching Certification
AZ IVP Fingerprint Card
Bachelor’s Degree
Previous school experience with K-12 (preferred, but not required.)
