School Counselor Opening Near Calumet City, IL
Sunbelt is seeking a qualified and passionate Middle School Counselor to join a school district near Calumet City, IL. The School Counselor will be responsible for providing counseling services to students to promote their academic, career, personal, and social development. The ideal candidate will be a caring and supportive individual who is skilled in communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students.
Develop and implement counseling programs that address the academic, career, personal, and social needs of students.
Provide crisis intervention and support to students in times of need.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Job Qualifications:

Master's degree in school counseling or a related field
Valid Illinois counseling certification or license
Previous counseling experience preferred.
